With less than six months until the original September release date of Marvel’s Wolverine for PS5, developer Insomniac Games has reaffirmed that more information about the game will be released soon.
The highly anticipated Marvel’s Wolverine game is expected to release in September. The official team previously stated they wanted to showcase more gameplay footage before pre-orders opened and encouraged players to add the game to their wishlists now. Now, they’ve reiterated that new information is on the way.
Today, the “Insomnia Group” (a gaming community) posted a brief reminder urging players to add the game to their wishlists, writing, “More information will be released later this spring! Add the game to your wishlist now.”
Spring begins on March 20th, and summer begins on June 21st. We’re currently in mid-April. Players in the comments section are already impatient, expressing their dissatisfaction: “Just delete the game already!”, “It’s spring, bro, how much longer do we have to wait for more news???” etc.
It’s currently unclear in what form the new information will be released; it could be a dedicated “Marvel’s Wolverine” event, or it could be a key part of a major Sony presentation.
