Despite a long period of silence surrounding Resonance: Legacy of a Plague Tale, Asobo Studio recently released three new screenshots, confirming that the game is still planned for release in 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC.
Set 15 years before the events of A Plague Tale: Requiem, the game puts players in the role of Sofia, embarking on an epic journey across the Minotaur Islands. The previous two installments in the series were praised for their story-driven narrative and unique rat swarm mechanics; this time, the focus shifts to the past of the supporting character, Sofia.
More information about Resonance: Legacy of a Plague Tale is expected to be revealed at various summer gaming events, particularly the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7th.
