AppReviewPros reported on April 21 that, according to an earlier report by the Financial Times, Project Prometheus, the engineering physics AI lab led by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, is about to complete a new round of funding totaling $10 billion at a valuation of $38 billion.
Project Prometheus raised $6.2 billion in seed funding last November, and this new round of funding will make it one of the most well-funded early-stage startups. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that investors such as JPMorgan Chase and BlackRock participated in this round of funding, and the deal is expected to close soon, although the terms have not yet been finalized.

In addition to this funding, Project Prometheus is also in talks to establish a holding company with plans to acquire manufacturing companies whose operating models could be disrupted by AI for tens of billions of dollars.
