According to Famitsu’s latest weekly sales data for Japanese consoles, the Switch 2 topped the list with 52,058 units sold, while even the previous generation Switch sold 21,134 units; the PS5, on the other hand, only sold 8,673 units, a huge difference between the two.


After the data was released, many gaming communities erupted in anger. Some bluntly stated, “PS5 sales have dropped to four digits; Sony is finished.” Others complained that the Xbox console “can’t even sell 1,000 units.” Still others pointed out that even though Sony had previously launched a low-priced version specifically designed for the Japanese market…
