According to a report by Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman on April 12, Apple’s iPhone Ultra will address two key long-standing issues with foldable phones.

Gurman explained, “Apple engineers believe they have solved the screen quality and overall durability issues of the foldable iPhone, two long-standing shortcomings of similar devices.”
Specifically, the crease on the iPhone Ultra is less noticeable when unfolded compared to other comparable devices.
Apple supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously revealed that the phone’s inner screen is “virtually crease-free”; however, Gurman later added that Apple used a technology that “reduces the crease but cannot completely eliminate it.”
In terms of specifications, the phone will feature a book-like opening design, offering a 7.7-inch inner screen when unfolded, suitable for watching videos, playing games, and split-screen multitasking. It may also feature a 5.3-inch outer screen, dual rear cameras, a single front camera, and a power button with Touch ID (instead of Face ID). Let’s look forward to this durable iPhone Ultra.
